This year's transfer portal for college basketball officially opens tomorrow, April 7th, and ends on April 21st. It's very important to note that this doesn't mean players only have this 15-day window to enter and commit to their new teams. The players just have to officially enter their names into the portal during this time frame.

Some of the transfers may not make a decision on where they're going or commit until later in the summer, especially the older players. For some reason, the juniors and seniors occasionally take longer to commit than the younger guys, and that could be because teams aren't spending the same type of NIL money on them, so it takes longer to figure things out.

Nevertheless, this is going to be a big portal window for Texas basketball, as Sean Miller and Co. have to replace quite a few of their main contributors from 2025/2026. Six players have officially exhausted their collegiate eligibility at the conclusion of the Longhorns' 2026 Tournament run.

As everyone knows, the transfer portal can get chaotic, so we’ve made this your one-stop shop for all Texas basketball offseason activity.
