Arch Manning will be the guy at QB for Texas in 2025

In the past week on social media, Texas fans have gone back and forth regarding a non-existent quarterback controversy between Ewers and redshirt freshman quarterback Arch Manning. It's nothing new for Texas fans to want Manning to get a shot at quarterback to give the offense a shot in the arm in key SEC road games this fall.

But Ewers has been the quarterback that Sarkisian and the Longhorns have rode through tough times with in SEC play this season. Outside of Ewers getting replaced by Manning at quarterback in the first half against Georgia, Sarkisian has made it know that Quinn is Texas's starter that will lead this team for the rest of the season.

By the end of this season, there's a very high likelihood that Ewers will rank in the top three all-time for Texas in passing yards, passing touchdowns, and completions.

Manning will get his time to be the guy at quarterback for the Longhorns in the 2025 season. He's waited his turn and developed in Sarkisian's offensive system at quarterback for the last two years.

The hard work and patience Manning has displayed will pay dividends in the Texas offense next year. Manning has had the necessary time to learn a complex scheme that often requires years for starting quarterbacks to get adjusted to in Sarkisian's system on offense.

The fake media narrative that Manning will replace Ewers as Texas's starting quarterback before the end of the season has stirred up unnecessary drama that doesn't reconcile with Sarkisian's attitude to the starting QB down the stretch.
