Running Backs

Shock Linwood shocked college football last season by coming off the bench and rushing for 369 yards versus the Oklahoma Sooners and Texas Tech Red Raiders in back-to-back games. Playing in the shadows of Lache Seastrunk and Glasco Martin, Linwood took advantage of the opportunities when presented. This year he will be the feature back.

Linwood is built like a bowling ball with speed. He will be one of the Big 12’s best rushers by season’s end. If something happens to Linwood, Baylor can turn to Devon Chafin. Chafin is a bruising back at 6-foot and 225 pounds. Baylor rushed for 223 yards against Texas last year. If the Bears can repeat this in Austin, it could be a long day for the Longhorn defense.
