(2) Minnesota Golden Gophers. Several years ago, Texas and Minnesota actually scheduled a home-and-home series to take place in the mid-2010s. But, the series was canceled before the Big 12 vs. Big 10 matchup could take place.

The Horns and Gophers have only played one time in 1936. Texas lost 47-19 in Minnesota when the Gophers were ranked #2 in the country. It was also one of the worst seasons in Texas Football history.

It’s time for that loss to be avenged and the home-and-home series to be rescheduled. In a future September, the Horns would enjoy a trip to Minneapolis and the Gophers might enjoy the Texas heat. Well, maybe.
