(2) Texas A&M Aggies. For Longhorns fans, Justin Tucker made sure that if the Longhorns and Aggies never play again, the rivalry ended on a good note. But, this series needs to happen again.

In 2016, there was chatter about putting this game at the Texas Motor Speedway to set an all-time attendance record, but that’s not necessary. DKR and Kyle Field will be fine. Or, the two teams could go old-school and play at a neutral site like NRG Stadium in Houston.

Way back in the early 1900s, Texas and A&M played a few games at neutral locations in Houston, Dallas, and even San Antonio. The series actually took a break after the 1911 game in Houston. Then, the two sides resumed their series in 1915 during World War I.

Of course, Texas and A&M have been on a similar break since J-Tuck beat the Aggies to end the 2011 season and send them to the SEC.

If Texas would have lost that game in College Station, this series would be #1 on the list because of the urgency to erase a bitter taste. But, since Texas is content having won the last game in the rivalry, there is a sense of not needing to rush into anything.

It should happen again, but the question is how long will it take to see the Longhorns and Aggies meet again.
