Michigan had the Fab Five. Texas Basketball has the Shaka Six.

This is the 2018 college basketball recruiting class that will not only lead to a complete turnaround from last season but also lead Texas back to the Final Four and be the foundation for Shaka Smart to build a program that will compete for National Titles every year.

Shaka Smart sat down with Longhorn Network anchor Lowell Galindo to review this Top 5 national recruiting class led by Mo Bamba and Matt Coleman.

If you combine this recruiting class with the return of Andrew Jones, the eligibility of Dylan Osetkowski, and youth turning into experience, you have the makings of an elite college basketball team.

The Longhorns are primed to break out in Shaka Smart’s third year with Texas. And, here are the players who will make it happen this coming season.
