Speaking of another talented high school prospect hailing out of California, five-star inside linebacker Justin Flowe is about as skilled as any defensive recruit gets. This 6-foot-2 elite linebacker is rated as the second best prospect in the nation and the best at his position.

It won’t take long until Flowe starts generating a ton of national buzz given his talent level. Texas could always use a player of his athleticism, prowess, and versatile ability to bolster the defense. Although, it is difficult to pry a top notch prospect like Flowe away from the west coast. Programs like USC, Alabama, and the Oregon Ducks are heavy in pursuit of Flowe.

Altogether, Flowe has 34 offers already. The Ohio State Buckeyes and Oklahoma Sooners are two other programs to watch in his recruitment. Yet, the Horns are a dark horse team that no one should rule out either in the race to land Flowe.

Any time you can add an immediate difference maker to the mix for any defense, nearly every top program in the nation will be after him. He’ll be able to boost any front seven in both pass coverage and run stopping right when he steps on campus. Texas should break out all the stops to impress Flowe in the upcoming months.
