Texas Football: 5 drastically underrated offensive 2020 recruiting targets
Continuing on the track of underrated and elusive rising targets for the 2020 Texas football recruiting class at a skill position, three-star athlete Kitan Crawford could be a huge add. Of all the big time speedy skill position targets that the Horns could haul in for this recruiting cycle, the John Tyler standout Crawford could be one of the fastest.
We’re also hitting on some of the prospects that the Horns could get committed that could replace what four-star St. Louis, MO, athlete Mookie Cooper brought to the table. Cooper decommitted from the 2020 recruiting class for the Horns less than a month after he announced his original pledge to the program.

However, Crawford is rated as the nation’s No. 813 high school prospect and the 60th best athlete. He doesn’t even rank as a top 100 2020 prospect in the state of Texas. He is criminally underrated as a three-star athlete, which partly could be because of his size at 5-foot-10 and under 175 pounds.
What Crawford would bring to the table for the Horns is one of the fastest and most agile running backs/wide receivers that could make an impact on both offense and special teams. He has quick feet and can make a ton of defenders miss in the open field. With a versatile and balanced offense getting built up on the Forty Acres now, Crawford has the potential to become a key role player.
