Among the most notable targets for the 2020 Texas football recruiting class in general is the four-star (potentially five soon) Highland Park High School and Dallas, TX, edge rusher Prince Dorbah. Some of the more recent recruiting camps and combines saw Dorbah stand out in a big way, and his stock should continue to rise in the coming months.

Dorbah is a potentially an elite pass rusher, and the Horns seem to be among the programs at the forefront of his recruitment. He released his top five schools on his Twitter timeline on March 22, so this is a fairly recent development. But, he did also mention that his recruitment is “still open” in the Tweet released with his finalist schools.

There are more competitor programs to watch in the recruitment of Dorbah outside of the Horns. The other four finalists for him included the LSU Tigers, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Oklahoma State. Some usual suspects were present on his list, but the Horns could be leading that entire group. The 247Sports Crystal Ball Predictions favors Dorbah to land with Texas over the rest of the field at the moment.

All in all, Dorbah ranks as a top 225 2020 high school prospect in the nation and a top 15 outside linebacker. His stock should rise soon and leap him at least among the top 200 prospects in the nation. By the time he’s ready to make his commitment decision, watch out for LSU and Oklahoma to compete directly with the Horns.
