At No. 5 on this list, we’re going to put a prospect that was heavily involved with a building bond with the coaching staff for the Texas football program of late. The 6-foot-3 and 195 pound Missouri City, TX, wideout Latrell Neville has a ton of attention from some of the nation’s top blue blood programs.

Neville is a product of Willowbridge High School in the state of Texas and ranks among the nation’s top 300 2021 high school prospects on his 247Sports recruiting ranking. Considering he isn’t ranked among the nation’s top 40 wide receivers for the 2021 cycle, the amount of big time offers he’s getting is a symbol of his potential and talent.

A few of the more notable top programs after his commitment include the Ohio State Buckeyes, LSU Tigers, Texas A&M Aggies, and Alabama Crimson Tide. Per Horns247, Herman and the Longhorns are making a good impression on Neville thus far. He recently told 247Sports: “Every time I go to Austin, it’s always a good time. The best part about it is the amount of love the coaches show, and the fact that it’s genuine.”

We’re still a while away from when Neville is scheduled to make his commitment decision. He has a set decision for just before the Early Signing Period for the 2021 recruiting cycle. That will fall around 18 months out from where we’re at now. But, the fact that he’s making some progress is announcing his pledge gives the Longhorns a set timeline.
