There was a load of Oklahoma quarterbacks that were easy to hate throughout the 2000’s and even on into the 2010’s up until today. Back in the early 2000’s, this line of quarterbacks for the Sooners started with the 2003 Heisman Trophy winner and a 2004 Heisman finalist with Jason White.

Any quarterback that stuck around for as long as White did for Oklahoma and held little relevance in the NFL like White is easy to hate for Texas football fans. White didn’t really do anything in the NFL, but he was on campus in Norman from 1999 until 2004. But his eligibility didn’t really begin until the 2001 season.

Finishing his career undefeated against the Longhorns, White was in Norman for the top days for Oklahoma under Stoops. His best individual performance against the Longhorns came back in 2003, when he threw for nearly 300 yards and four touchdowns.

White was the 2003 AP Player of the Year and won the Heisman Trophy. Finding success with Oklahoma is something that most Texas fans will always dislike. But a name that didn’t do anything in the NFL like White keeps drawing back to the same point of frustration for the Longhorns.
