Ennis Rakestraw

Ennis Rakestraw is the next name on the list and a guy that Texas and their staff may have done just enough late to seal the deal.

Texas had not offered the Duncanville defensive back product until about a month ago, though their push to add another cornerback to this class has been emphatic.

The Longhorns have just one true cornerback signed in Kitan Crawford.

There are currently only two crystal ball predictions for the three-star CB, one for Alabama and one for Missouri. With that being said Texas seems to have a lot of momentum after they welcomed Rakestraw on campus this past weekend.

On Tuesday morning Rakestraw even tweeted out a picture of him on FaceTime with Tom Herman’s new defensive backs coach Jay Valai.

Rakestraw is set to announce his commitment Wednesday morning at 9:00 AM CT. I would give the Horns a 70/75 percent chance to land him.
