1. Philadelphia Eagles

If Johnson were to land with any team in the NFC East, most Longhorns fans would likely want him to get drafted by the Dallas Cowboys. Since the Cowboys extended the former Alabama Crimson Tide wide receiver Amari Cooper earlier in the offseason, they don’t have as much of a glaring need as once anticipated in the receiving corps.

The team with the most glaring need in the receiving corps, though, in the NFC East is the 2017-18 Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles. The last team from the NFC East to win the Super Bowl, the Eagles need to move quickly before all the core pieces of their title squad are playing elsewhere, or washed out in Philly.

The mainstays of the receiving corps are veteran deep-threat DeSean Jackson, Alshon Jeffery, and former Stanford Cardinal J.J. Arcega-Whiteside. Injuries and A LOT of dropped passes persisted as one of the huge downsides to this group of wide receivers that does still have some talent. Johnson would give the Eagles another sizable option to look to in the passing game on the outside.

A landing spot like the Eagles would give Johnson a good amount of other talented receivers to compete against for playing time, but also give him the chance to make an immediate impact. The Eagles fan base is really hungry to get a wide receiver that is going to help this offense make less mistakes and boneheaded plays.

Why not take a flier out on a towering option like Johnson?
