2. Sam Ehlinger‘s GoFundMe

To-be senior Texas quarterback Sam Ehlinger followed in Lawrence’s footsteps with the idea to help out by starting a COVID-19 relief fundraiser on GoFundMe. While Lawrence has strayed to a different path to collect donations and help out, Ehlinger’s GoFundMe page is really picking up a lot of steam in terms of total donations.

Late last week, Ehlinger’s GoFundMe page eclipsed $75,000 in donations. Up to this point, it has now has more than $82,000 (as of the afternoon of April 7). The page now has 658 donors and followers, and 3,600 shares.

The efforts of Ehlinger to build up this GoFundMe page is still continuing on his Twitter page. He’s getting more and more donations by day. He originally set a goal of raising $1 million. And he originally cited Marissa Mowry and Lawrence for the idea of starting this fundraiser page.

In one of the posts on Herman’s Twitter timeline, it showed Ehlinger helping out with some of the community donation efforts too. Reading all the positive notes and comments on Ehlinger’s page is great and should keep the momentum going of his growing donations.
