1. Denver Broncos team effort

Taking a look at a few recent Longhorns that are now playing in the NFL, a trio of Texas Exes is going to help make an impact with the Denver Broncos. One of the true holistic team efforts to get a good donation made from an NFL team came from the Broncos, with their recent auctions.

The trio of Texas Exes that are on the Broncos roster now includes safety P.J. Locke III, tight end Andrew Beck, and offensive tackle Calvin Anderson. Beck was really the only of those three that was able to make an impact on the field for the Broncos in his rookie season in the NFL, but all three are helping out when it matters most at this moment.

The items being auctioned from the Broncos ranges from team signed merchandise, a John Elway signed jersey, and a Peyton Manning signed football. The team also announced that part of this local donation was going to be 5,000 items of protective equipment to the medical workers.

The Broncos seem like a good rallying force in the Denver community right now. That is what a lot of teams can do to help out. Just like the donations and relief efforts from the Longhorns helped out in Austin, hopefully this makes a continued positive impact in Denver, and Colorado as a whole.
