Who are not necessarily just the fastest, but the most explosive weapons Texas football brings back ahead of the 2020 season?

Entering the 2020 season, the Texas football program will still have a lot of pressure on them to succeed in the midst of the novel coronavirus pandemic. Texas has a lot of special talents they have coming back on both sides of the ball that are proven starters to hopefully take this team to new heights this fall. This Longhorns team is going to be much more experienced in 2020 than it was last season.

Since Texas is still anticipated to play the full planned 2020 regular season schedule, at least as of July 25, they have to be ready to a difficult non-con and Big 12 slate both. They’re already ramping up for the start of the 2020 season as mandatory summer workouts are underway. There really isn’t all that much time until the planned kick off to the 2020 season arrives for the Longhorns.

Texas is set to open up the regular season on Sep. 5 at home against the South Florida Bulls. If all holds up there, it would lead into potentially the most significant game on the slate this fall. In Week 2, the Longhorns are traveling to Baton Rouge to face the defending National Champion LSU Tigers on Sep. 12. Either the showdown against LSU or the Red River Rivalry game against the Oklahoma Sooners is likely to be the most important this season.

To get through the more difficult parts of the 2020 schedule, Texas is going to still need some new faces to step up into the spotlight and shine. They do have a lot of special skill position players and overall athletes that could fit into that role.

Here’s a look into three of the most explosive weapons on the Longhorns roster for 2020.
