Texas Football: 3 biggest Brandon Harris recruiting targets
The second and final name on this list among the running back targets for the Longhorns from the 2022 recruiting cycle is the potent and promising four-star Denison product Jadarian Price. As a prospect that seemingly hung around on the Longhorns radar for a good while now, he should be a highly prioritized in-state target for the 2022 class.
This 5-foot-11 and 180 pound Texas native is one of more than five in-state running backs for the 2022 cycle that the Longhorns have offered thus far that are true to the position. There is also one all-purpose back that Texas offered for their 2022 class. Price is one of the more agile and versatile for his recruiting ranking, but he does need to continue to bulk up.
And Price holds offers from more than 15 schools as of the afternoon of Aug. 13. The highlighting schools on his offer sheet includes the Arizona State Sun Devils, Baylor Bears, Auburn, Mizzou Tigers, Minnesota Golden Gophers, Ohio State, Oklahoma State Cowboys, SMU Mustangs, TCU Horned Frogs, Texas Tech Red Raiders, and USC Trojans.
He ranks as the nation’s No. 193 2022 high school prospect, No. 20 running back, and No. 27 prospect out of Texas (247Sports Composite). Don’t be all that surprised if Price continues to pick up steam on the recruiting trail, as he’s received six offers since the beginning of April alone. Texas needs to make sure his interests stay on the Forty Acres.
