4) Best players in the Big 12 for the 2020 season: Tylan Wallace, Wide Receiver

The Big 12 usually has a plethora of wide receiver talent, and the 2020 season should be no exception. But potentially the best wide receiver in the Big 12 this year should be one that might fall somewhat under the radar on the national level. Oklahoma State’s rising senior wide receiver and former four-star recruit Tylan Wallace missed a good portion of the 2019 season due to an ACL tear.

But Wallace was on a tear before his ACL went out in a very unfortunate injury that he suffered in practice last fall. For his college career to date, Wallace registered 146 catches for more than 2,500 receiving yards and 21 total touchdowns. He’s averaged more than 17.0 yards per catch and 94 receiving yards per game since his college career began in Stillwater (first playing time back in 2017).

Last season before his knee injury caused him to miss a good portion of the 2019 season, Wallace registered 903 receiving yards and eight touchdown catches in nine games played. He was on pace to compete for the Biletnikoff Award yet again, which he was a finalist for during the 2018 season. He fell short against former Alabama Crimson Tide wide receiver Jerry Jeudy in 2018.

Wallace will be a potent threat in the Oklahoma State offense that is really chocked full of weapons at the skill positions this fall. The Oklahoma State receiving corps is experienced between the likes of redshirt senior Dillon Stoner and Wallace and will have plenty for rising redshirt sophomore quarterback Spencer Sanders to work with.
