2) Predicting next 2021 Texas football commit

Yet another very recent offer to go out for the Longhorns for their 2021 class went to the rather unknown three-star Pinnacle (AZ) 6-foot and 175 pound wide receiver/safety Dorian Singer. This Arizona native versatile wideout/defensive back received his official Texas scholarship offer on Dec. 21. Texas was the most recent school to offer Singer.

Now that the Longhorns have sent an offer to Singer, he’s now got one from more than 15 schools. The other highlighting schools on his offer sheet includes the Air Force Falcons, Eastern Michigan Eagles, Iowa State Cyclones, FCS North Dakota State Bison, Ohio Bobcats, Utah Utes, and Western Michigan Broncos.

A good portion of the schools on Singer’s offer sheet came from the FCS level. His lone Power Five offers came from Texas, Iowa State, and Utah.

Despite landing a commitment from Lee to form a trio of wide receivers in the Longhorns 2021 class, they might still be able to get Singer in the mix if the coaching staff is still interested. The 247Sports Crystal Ball Predictions have all of their experts picking the commitment of Singer to ultimately go to Texas over the rest of the field.

Moreover, Singer ranks as the nation’s No. 1,473 2021 high school prospect, No. 203 wide receiver, and No. 21 prospect out of Arizona (247Sports Composite). And the Top247 ranks him as the No. 192 wide receiver and No. 20 prospect out of Arizona.

There is also the potential of Singer to cross train with the Longhorns to see if he would be a better fit in the defensive backfield, with first-year defensive coordinator/safeties coach Chris Ash, or with Herman and Coleman in the receiving corps.
