3) Predicting next 2022 Texas football commit after Murphy

A potential next commit up for the Longhorns 2022 recruiting class that is trending to land on the Forty Acres of late is the unheralded 6-foot-4 and 300 pound Westlake offensive tackle Connor Robertson. This local Austin, TX, offensive line prospect is becoming a prioritized target for recently hired offensive line coach/offensive coordinator Kyle Flood and Sark of late.

The Rivals FutureCast now has all of their publishers and analysts picking the commitment of Robertson to go to the Longhorns over the rest of the competition. And all three of the 247Sports expert Crystal Ball Predictions are favoring Texas to get Robertson in their 2022 class.

Most of the picks of Robertson to commit to Texas have come this month too.

The offer sheet of Robertson has expanded greatly of late. He’s now up to more than 21 schools on his ever-growing offer sheet. Since the beginning of this month, he’s received scholarship offers from the likes of the USC Trojans, TCU Horned Frogs, Northwestern Wildcats, Virginia Cavaliers, Wake Forest Demon Deacons, Minnesota Golden Gophers, Nebraska Cornhuskers, Mississippi State Bulldogs, and the Longhorns.

A few of the other highlighting schools on his offer sheet includes the Duke Blue Devils, Houston Cougars, Kansas State Wildcats, and SMU Mustangs.

Moreover, Robertson ranks as the nation’s No. 746 2022 high school prospect, No. 26 offensive guard (classified with this position group in the recruiting rankings), and No. 92 prospect out of Texas (247Sports Composite). And the Top247 ranks him as the No. 29 offensive guard and No. 109 prospect out of Texas.
