2) Next 2022 Texas football commit after Evan Stewart

One prospect that wouldn’t surprise many at this point in time if he were in fact to land with the Longhorns 2022 class when it’s all said and done is the highly touted four-star West Brook 5-foot-11 and 185 pound safety Bryce Anderson. This uber-talented defensive back hailing out of Beaumont, TX, was starting to trend to Texas for a good few weeks now.

The former LSU commit Anderson is starting to gain a lot of momentum heading to a commitment on the Forty Acres. Anderson was committed to head coach Ed Orgeron and LSU’s 2022 recruiting class until he re-opened his recruitment back on Jan. 30. Since his decommitment late last month from LSU, Anderson gained offers from a whopping seven schools in a matter of weeks.

And the expert 247Sports Crystal Ball Predictions are starting to trend more firmly in favor of Anderson to give his commitment to Texas over the likes of the rival Texas A&M Aggies, LSU, and the rest of the competition. But the Rivals FutureCast still has their analysts and publishers mostly picking his pledge to land with the Aggies.

Anderson now holds offers from 40 schools, including his from the Longhorns. The other highlighting schools on his offer sheet includes the Crimson Tide, Auburn, Florida, Florida State Seminoles, Georgia, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Ohio State Buckeyes, Oregon, Penn State, Tennessee, and USC.

Moreover, Anderson ranks as the nation’s No. 66 2022 high school prospect, No. 4 safety, and No. 12 prospect out of Texas (247Sports Composite). And the Top247 ranks him as the nation’s No. 84 high school prospect, No. 6 safety, and No. 15 prospect out of Texas.
