2) Important 2022 Texas football visitors

Both Brown and the underrated three-star 6-foot-4 and 220 pound Creekview tight end Sean Sallis were recent important virtual visits held by the Longhorns among 2022 prospects. The Longhorns holding virtual visits with these recently targeted three-star prospects signals how valuable Sark and his staff feel they could be to their 2022 class.

Moreover, Brown and Sallis both are three-star high school prospects hailing out of the state of Texas. Although the difference between the two is that Sallis has not received an official scholarship offer from Texas yet, while Brown has. There are currently six Division I schools that have offered Sallis.

Some of the more notable of those six programs includes the New Mexico Lobos, UConn Huskies, Minnesota, and the Maryland Terrapins. Other schools such as Texas and TCU have given scout looks to the sizable tight end.

Texas is reportedly (per Horns247, paid content) “building a relationship” with the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex product that could be the first three-star commit in the 2022 class if they prioritize him further and offer him in the near future. Texas doesn’t have any true tight end commits in their 2021 class as of yet. Texas would be just the third Power Five offer if they were to send one to Sallis.

Sallis ranks as the nation’s No. 706 2022 high school prospect, No. 41 tight end, and No. 96 prospect out of Texas (247Sports Composite). And the Top247 ranks him as the No. 47 tight end and No. 116 prospect out of Texas.
