Predicting next 2022 commit No. 2: Connor Robertson

Turning attention to the trenches on the offensive side of the ball for Sark and new offensive line coach/offensive coordinator Kyle Flood, this next target up on the list for the Longhorns 2022 class could be a foundation-setter. Just like Ross became the Longhorns first commit in the 2022 class to play along the defensive line, underrated three-star Westlake 6-foot-4 and 295 pound offensive tackle Connor Robertson could be a momentum-shifter.

This local Austin product and versatile offensive lineman Robertson has picked up a lot of offers within the past month. In fact, more than a quarter of Robertson’s more than 25 schools on his offer sheet were picked up within the six weeks alone.

Texas is one of 27 schools in total to have offered Robertson thus far. Some of the other notable schools on his offer sheet include the Duke Blue Devils, Cal Golden Bears, Stanford, Mississippi State Bulldogs, Nebraska Cornhuskers, Northwestern Wildcats, Ole Miss Rebels, SMU Mustangs, TCU Horned Frogs, Tennessee Volunteers, USC, and Virginia Cavaliers.

The 247Sports Crystal Ball Predictions have all three experts picking Robertson to give his commitment to the Longhorns over the rest of the field. And the Rivals FutureCast has all of their analysts and publishers picking Robertson to commit to Texas.

Moreover, Robertson ranks as the nation’s No. 498 2022 high school prospect, No. 14 offensive guard (classifies differently in the recruiting rankings), and No. 71 prospect out of Texas (247Sports Composite). And the Top247 ranks him as the No. 15 offensive guard and No. 72 prospect out of Texas.
