Arch Manning, QB

The top quarterback early on for the Longhorns 2023 class to try and win over is the uber-talented five-star Isidore Newman product Arch Manning. Texas seems to be one of the early contenders in the running to land a commitment from Manning, but there also looks to be a long way to go for the 6-foot-4 and 200 pound Louisiana native pro-style quarterback.

The offer sheet should start to expand greatly in the near future for Manning. And Manning is reportedly a pretty big fan of the Longhorns new head coaching hire in Sark. If Sark and the Longhorns can use this advantage this offseason, then they might be able to establish themselves among the frontrunners in his eyes.

Texas appears to have an early edge with Manning, as they’ve been in contact with him for a while now.

Schools like Texas and Alabama are two of 10 that are now on his offer sheet. Some of the other notable schools on his offer sheet include the Duke Blue Devils, LSU, Georgia, North Carolina Tar Heels, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Tennessee, and the Ole Miss Rebels.

Moreover, Manning ranks as the nation’s No. 3 2023 high school prospect, top overall pro-style quarterback and prospect out of Louisiana (247Sports Composite). And the Top247 ranks him as the nation’s No. 5 high school prospect, and the top overall pro-style quarterback and prospect out of Louisiana.
