One of the true gems among those players still uncommitted in the transfer portal at this point of the offseason is the former Arizona Wildcats elite five-star recruit and Roseville, CA, native Jordan Brown. The 6-foot-11 and 235 pound junior big man is now in the transfer portal for the third time in his career to date.

When Brown was originally recruited out of Prolific Prep during the 2018 cycle, he decided to take his talents to join the Nevada Wolfpack. Brown only stuck around for one season with Nevada before putting his name in the portal for the first time. He then joined Arizona ahead of the 2019-20 season but had to sit out due to the redshirt rule.

Yet, Brown only got to play in one season with the Wildcats before putting his name in the portal for a second time in a span of just three years. He should still be a rather highly sought-after commodity on the transfer market this offseason.

Last season was Brown’s best of his college career to date. In 26 games played with Arizona, he averaged 9.4 points per game, 5.2 rebounds, 0.6 assists, 0.5 steals, and 0.9 blocks. And he shot 56.0 percent from the field and 59.8 percent from the free-throw line.

Jordan would be the type of transfer addition that could fill the void left by Brown immediately. He is more of a traditional presence down low than Greg, who did possess the ability to space the floor playing at the four or five. But Jordan could make a more consistent positive impact on the glass and on the defensive end of the floor as a whole out of the gates compared to Greg.
