Arlis Boardingham, ATH

A prospect that was trending the way of Sark and the Longhorns for a few weeks now is the underrated three-star 6-foot-4 and 220 pound Birmingham (CA) athlete Arlis Boardingham. Texas has two expert 247Sports Crystal Ball Predictions both going in their favor to land the commitment of Boardingham.

If those projections for Boardingham’s commitment hold true through official visit season next month, then they could get him in their 2022 class in the very near future. Texas is one of two official visits currently on the books for Boardingham. He is scheduled to visit Texas on June 24, which is the last of two for him thus far.

The other official visit scheduled for Boardingham at the moment comes with head coach Herm Edwards and the Arizona State Sun Devils on June 18. More official visits might be able to get scheduled soon for Boardingham.

Texas and Arizona State are two of more than a dozen schools currently on Boardingham’s offer sheet. The California native also holds offers from the Colorado Buffaloes, Duke Blue Devils, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Kansas Jayhawks, Utah Utes, and Washington Huskies.

It is currently new Texas special teams coordinator/recruiting specialist Jeff Banks that is the primary recruiter on staff for Texas going after Boardingham.

Moreover, Boardingham ranks as the nation’s No. 451 2022 high school prospect, No. 38 athlete, and No. 36 prospect out of California (247Sports Composite). And the Top247 ranks him as the No. 22 athlete and No. 24 prospect out of California.
