Evan Stewart, WR

I’ve discussed a lot about the possibility of Sark and the Longhorns getting the commitment of the uber-talented and elusive five-star Frisco-Liberty wide receiver Evan Stewart back in the 2022 class once official visit season concludes. Stewart is set to visit Texas on June 11. That is one of four official visits currently scheduled for Stewart.

The other three schools that Stewart will be visiting next month (at least among his scheduled OV’s) are the Florida Gators, Texas A&M Aggies, and Georgia Bulldogs. Texas will be the second of four visits for Stewart next month.

Those four schools are part of a group of nearly 40 on Stewart’s lengthy offer sheet. The other highlighting schools on his offer sheet are the Alabama Crimson Tide, LSU Tigers, Auburn Tigers, Florida State Seminoles, Michigan Wolverines, Nebraska Cornhuskers, Notre Dame, Oklahoma Sooners, Oregon Ducks, Tennessee Volunteers, and USC Trojans.

The 247Sports Crystal Ball Predictions do currently have two experts projecting the commitment of Stewart to land with Texas over the rest of the field. And the Rivals FutureCast still has all of their analysts and publishers picking Stewart to land back in the Longhorns 2022 class.

Texas only held onto the commitment of Stewart for a few weeks before he re-opened his recruitment back in March. But getting him back in the 2022 class remains a realistic possibility for Texas.

Moreover, Stewart ranks as the nation’s No. 34 2022 high school prospect, No. 3 wide receiver, and No. 9 prospect out of Texas (247Sports Composite). And the Top247 ranks him as the nation’s No. 37 high school prospect, No. 5 wide receiver, and No. 11 prospect out of Texas.
