Zuby Ejiofor, PF

Yet another power forward on this list that is a target of the Longhorns 2022 class is the uber-talented 6-foot-8 and 215-pound Garland (TX) product Zuby Ejiofor. This native of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex is one of the top in-state targets for Beard and the Longhorns in the 2022 class. And he’s one on the radar of Texas hoops for a good while now.

The main reason why Ejiofor is particularly notable for Texas in late May and early June compared to past months is how loaded his visit schedule is for the next two months. During June and July, there are roughly a half-dozen visits on the books for Ejiofor. He’ll be busy this summer getting a feel for how some of his top schools look like in person, and how each fits him.

Ejiofor is set to take an official visit with the Longhorns in particular on June 28. He is one of the later visitors for Texas in June. But it comes right in the thick of the rest of the visits he’s scheduled to take in June and July.

Some of the other visits he’s scheduled for come with the TCU Horned Frogs (June 9), Oklahoma Sooners (June 14), Kansas Jayhawks (June 23), and Arkansas Razorbacks (July 1). And watch out for some potential unofficial visits for Ejiofor to take in the next two months.

Texas is now one of just under a dozen schools on Ejiofor’s offer sheet. But Texas is also a school that got in early with Ejiofor compared to the rest of the programs that offered him thus far.

Moreover, Ejiofor ranks as the nation’s No. 39 2022 high school prospect, No. 8 power forward, and No. 4 prospect out of Texas (247Sports Composite). And the Top247 ranks him as the nation’s No. 37 high school prospect, No. 8 power forward, and No. 6 prospect out of Texas.
