Definitely, one of the most underrated prospects in general that is visiting Texas next month is the four-star Buford athlete/wide receiver and current Florida commit Isaiah Bond. The speedy and elusive 6-foot and 175 pound athlete has a decently busy schedule of visits that he’s taking next month, so it’s pretty clear he’s still considering some other options.

Texas hit the ground running with a lot of Buford High School prospects in the past few cycles. One of the more recent notable gets for the Longhorns out of Buford is the four-star running back Derian Brown.

Texas had their official visit on the books with Bond well before he announced his commitment to Florida on May 9. And Texas is one of four schools set to host Bond for an official visit next month. Those four schools include Texas (June 25), the Alabama Crimson Tide (June 18), Miami Hurricanes (June 11), and Florida (June 4).

Getting the final official visit next month with Bond could be big for Sark and the Longhorns to make an impression heading into the rest of the offseason. Texas should still be in play for the Georgia native.

The primary recruiter in pursuit of Bond’s commitment from the Longhorns is second-year wide receivers coach Andre Coleman. That could be a good thing since Coleman did really good work on the recruiting trail in the last five or six months.
