Mark Nabou, IOL

One of the emerging offensive line targets for the Longhorns and new offensive line coach/offensive coordinator Kyle Flood is the three-star O’Dea (WA) interior offensive lineman Mark Nabou. It wasn’t even three months ago that the Longhorns offered Nabou in the first place, specifically coming back on June 9.

That wasn’t an offer that came in time for Texas to get Nabou to campus for an official visit back in June. But it did look to come in time for the staff to make some good headway to build this relationship with Nabou.

Texas offered Nabou before he decommitted from the Washington Huskies. He had originally committed to Washington back on June 1, only to decommit on June 23.

It appears that the four schools to watch now in pursuit of Nabou’s commitment are the Texas A&M Aggies, Michigan Wolverines, USC Trojans, and Texas. This is a similar group of schools that are in contention for the elite five-star offensive lineman Josh Conerly Jr.

With how fast Texas is rising in pursuit of Nabou’s commitment, it wouldn’t be surprising to see him on campus for a visit sometime soon this season. That might be enough for Texas to seal the deal with him. We’ll see how Texas prioritizes him in the near future compared to other top rated offensive line targets such as Conerly and fellow five-star Devon Campbell.
