It feels like the Texas football program and head coach Steve Sarkisian ended the 2021 regular season six months ago now. With all of the momentum that Texas has generated on the recruiting trail of late via the pursuit of top high school talent and key prospects (looking at you Quinn Ewers) out of the NCAA Transfer Portal, Sark has plenty of excitement building for 2022.

Sark and the Longhorns have essentially found a new lease on life on the Forty Acres thanks to some recent events that will build out the roster for 2022 and beyond. Just ahead of the start of the Early Signing Period, the Longhorns have landed multiple key commitments that will help build this program for the immediate future, and for the years to come upon the transition to leave the Big 12 for the SEC.

Where Texas football can look in the transfer portal after landing QB Quinn Ewers?

While it was massive for Sark and the Longhorns to get a commitment from Ewers out of the transfer portal over the weekend, what happens in terms of other personnel added to the mix subsequently is a very relevant topic of conversation right now. Texas is going to see more momentum coming on the recruiting trail ahead of the Early Signing Period.

Texas has the Early Signing Period set to begin in less than 48 hours from now. What lies ahead for the Longhorns during the Early Signing Period could be truly special. But the activity is not done in the transfer portal either for Sark and the Longhorns after landing Ewers.

Here’s a look into a prediction of who the Longhorns will land next after getting Ewers out of the portal last weekend.
