What could be one of the most underrated parts of the Longhorns 2023 class when it’s all said and done is a commitment from the under-the-radar three-star interior offensive lineman and Mansfield Timberview product Andre Cojoe. Despite Cojoe not being labeled as a blue-chip prospect at the moment, he should be valued as one for the Longhorns 2023 class.

Offensive line coach/offensive coordinator Kyle Flood and the Longhorns staff really seem to value what Cojoe could bring to the table for the 2023 class. And the early connection seems to be there between Cojoe’s camp and Flood.

This is evident in the fact that the only two expert 247Sports Crystal Ball Predictions for Cojoe project his commitment to land with Texas.

The momentum is clearly with Texas right now in the race to land a commitment from Cojoe.

It looks like three of the top schools emerging for Cojoe entering the spring are the TCU Horned Frogs, Houston Cougars, and Texas. But Texas could be considered the frontrunner of that group of top schools right now if one were to be named.

Moreover, Cojoe would be a solid first addition to the offensive line group for the Longhorns 2023 class. That is especially the case since Texas needs to focus more on building out the offensive line for the long-term and the move to the SEC considering the fact they landed so many immediate impact offensive linemen in the 2022 class.

Texas did well to sign one of the most highly touted groups of offensive line prospects in the modern history of this football program in the 2022 recruiting class. Flood and the Longhorns signed two blue-chips and roughly a half-dozen blue-chip caliber offensive linemen in the 2022 class last month.
