Following a convincing win in the Round of 64 over the 15-seed Fairfield on March 18, head coach Vic Schaefer and the two-seed Texas women’s basketball will be looking to stay hot on March 20 when they take on the seven-seed Utah Utes in the Round of 32. Texas has an opportunity to win their 13th straight game if they can top the Utes on March 20.

Schaefer and the Longhorns are on a roll of late, including their upset win in the championship game in the Big 12 Tournament over the top-seeded Baylor Bears last week.

Texas can use that momentum to get one step closer to accomplishing the ultimate goal of making it to the Final Four and winning the National Championship Game. But before Texas can think about that, they must get through a potent opponent on offense in the Utes and make it to the Sweet 16.

Utah is the highest-scoring team in the PAC-12 this season, averaging nearly 77 points per game. That will be a lot for the Texas defense to deal with in this Round of 32 matchup on March 20.
