Ryan Niblett, WR

Wide receiver is a huge emphasis for Sark and new wide receivers coach/passing game coordinator Kyle Niblett in the Longhorns 2023 class. That is very noticeable considering the fact that the Longhorns have hosted a plethora of key wideout targets they’re making a priority this spring. And one of those is the talented four-star Aldine Eisenhower (TX) wide receiver Ryan Niblett.

For the second time this month, Niblett is visiting Austin as Marion and the Longhorns try to close the deal with him at some point during the summer. Texas definitely looks to be trending in the right direction with Niblett, as he has now visited this weekend as well as back on April 9.

As one of the top wideout targets in the Longhorns 2023 class, this will be a key weekend where Texas can really start to establish themselves as the pacesetter in the race to land a commitment from Niblett for the rest of the offseason.

Tyler Turner, S

There aren’t many better safeties out of the state of Texas for the 2023 recruiting cycle than the rising four-star San Antonio-Brennan product Tyler Turner. The recent Baylor Bears de-commit (from back on March 9) is now really starting to garner some attention from the Longhorns faithful as Blake Gideon and this staff continues to heighten his importance on the trail this spring.

If Texas can make the right impression on Turner on this weekend visit during the altered spring game, that could help them start to take the lead in his recruitment heading into the summer. This is already the third visit for Turner to Austin since January. He’s also made his way to campus two times now during the month of April.
