What is turning into potentially the biggest visitor weekend of the fall for the 2023 Texas football recruiting class is set to transpire this weekend when head coach Steve Sarkisian’s squad hosts the undefeated TCU Horned Frogs at DKR in Austin. Texas looks set to host at least a few dozen visitors this weekend when it hosts TCU, which means it could be the biggest visitor list potentially outside of the Alabama Crimson Tide game on Sep. 10.

New visitors are seemingly getting added to the list for this coming weekend every other hour early this week. And one of the newest additions to the visitor list for the weekend is yet another key commit in the Texas A&M Aggies 2023 recruiting class.

According to a report from Gerry Hamilton of Inside Texas on Nov. 8 (paid content), the highly touted four-star Texas A&M commit and La Grange cornerback Bravion Rogers is set to take an unofficial visit to Austin this weekend to watch Texas face TCU.

This will be the first time this fall that Rogers takes an unofficial visit for a game that doesn’t involve the Aggies.

It will also be the first time that Rogers has unofficially visited Texas since the spring. He took an unofficial to Austin in late March, a couple of weeks prior to committing to Texas A&M in mid-April.

Moreover, this is clearly big for the Longhorns to be hosting another current/former Texas A&M commit in the 2023 class this weekend. Texas is starting to pry away at a number of recent Texas A&M commits, which has culminated in a huge recruiting weekend for the TCU game on Nov. 12.

Texas is also set to host the former Texas A&M commit and elite five-star Denton Ryan linebacker Anthony Hill for the TCU game this weekend.

And Texas continues to work on getting five-star Katy Paetow defensive lineman/Texas A&M commit David Hicks on campus for a visit either for the TCU game or on Black Friday when Texas hosts the Baylor Bears.

Texas is set to host a few big-time defensive back recruits this weekend that are worth noting. Rogers and four-star Arlington Martin cornerback Javien Toviano are the big names among the visiting DB recruits this weekend along with the fast-rising three-star Pebblebrook (GA) product Tyler Scott.
