One of the highest-rated Texas offers that will be potentially the top priority among the skill position targets for the 2024 class is one that will be on campus for Junior Day next weekend. The elite five-star Temple Lake Belton (TX) wide receiver Micah Hudson will reportedly get a visit from the Texas staff at his high school this week.

And Hudson is one of the visitors that is expected to be on campus for Texas’ Junior Day on Jan. 21.

Hudson was a regular visitor in Austin and for Texas games in the season that was. He made the visit for two Texas games last fall, including the whopping of the Oklahoma Sooners in the Red River Rivalry game in Dallas.

Texas has made some big moves in this recruitment since the fall. Hudson has continually found a good connection with Sark and this staff. But one thing to watch in this recruitment will be the eventual wide receivers coach hire to replace the recently-departed Brennan Marion.

It sounds like a list of top schools will soon be released from Hudson and Texas is expected to be in the mix. And at the moment, it’s not out of the realm of possibility that Texas could be considered the leader in this recruitment over other top schools such as the Texas A&M Aggies and Texas Tech Red Raiders.
