Dozie Ezukanma, WR

One of my personal favorite rising in-state wide receiver recruits in the 2024 class is the physically-gifted four-star Fort Worth All Saints Episcopal product Dozie Ezukanma. The little brother of the former Texas Tech Red Raiders and current Miami Dolphins wide receiver Erik Ezukanma, Dozie saw his stock rise early in the 7v7 circuit this offseason and really since late in his junior season at All Saints Episcopal.

The 6-foot-4 and 185-pound Ezukanma has put on a show in this 7v7 circuit for Texas Threat as he has another talented in-state recruit in 2025 All Saints Episcopal quarterback Kelden Ryan throwing him the ball.

In fact, Dozie was one of my top performers from the first day of the Pylon 7v7 weekend in Dallas earlier this month.

Dozie is a true playmaker at wideout with great hands and the ability to snatch contested 50/50 balls on the boundary. He profiles as someone that could be a really nice long-term fit for new wide receivers coach Chris Jackson and the Longhorns at the boundary receiver spot.

And while Texas has shown some interest in Dozie in the last few months, including hosting him for an unofficial trip in November, he has yet to receive an offer as of yet.

But I do think an offer could be on the way soon given that Texas is in the early stages of the spring evaluation period and boundary receiver is a need that should be addressed in the 2024 class.
