The other On3 RPM pick that was entered early this week projecting the commitment of an elite skill recruit in the 2025 class to the Longhorns was for the elite five-star Duncanville wide receiver Dakorien Moore. The No. 1 wide receiver recruit out of Texas in the 2025 class, according to nearly all the major recruiting services, has started trending to the Longhorns since he had a successful unofficial trip to Austin for the Elite Camp in early June.

On3/Inside Texas’ Gerry Hamilton entered an RPM pick on July 18 (7 out of 10 confidence) projecting Moore’s commitment to Texas. Hamilton’s RPM pick is the first forecast for Moore’s commitment from any of the major recruiting services.

If there is any one skill recruit in the 2025 class that is attracted by the idea of playing with Lacey, Moore is it. Moore also likes what he sees from Sark’s offense and what new wide receivers coach Chris Jackson brings with his NFL background.

Jackson made a big first impression on Moore and his family when the elite South Dallas wide receiver recruit met the new Texas wide receivers coach for the first time at the Elite Camp on the weekend of June 3.

The combination of Texas’ connections early in this recruitment and the appeal of playing in Sark’s offense with such a talented line of quarterbacks for the Longhorns are factors helping UT set the pace with Moore. Texas looks the part of the leader among Moore’s top schools early in the recruiting process.
