Jonah Williams, LB/ATH

The highest-rated 2025 visitor on campus for the Longhorns during the pool party/BBQ Bash last week was the elite five-star Galveston (TX) Ball athlete/linebacker Jonah Williams. The top-ranked linebacker recruit in the nation in the 2025 class in the On3 Industry Ranking made it back to the 40 for the first time since the second Junior Day of the offseason on March 25.

Williams had a good experience during his third visit to Austin of the offseason. We mentioned on the site over the weekend that Williams has Texas among his top schools coming out of this visit.

"“I really like the campus, players, everything. The coaches, they’re all great people. They always ask me how I’m doing, so that’s a great thing.”"

But that wasn’t his only positive feedback regarding the Texas visit for the bash. Texas is in a good spot with the 6-foot-3 and 200-pound top-ranked linebacker recruit.

Chad Woodfork, EDGE

Another highly-rated visitor that Texas hosted for the pool party/BBQ Bash last week was the high-four-star Humble (TX) Summer Creek edge rusher, Chad Woodfork. The 6-foot-4.5 and 220-pound EDGE recruit returned to Austin for the first time since the first Junior Day of the offseason on Jan. 21.

PK, Davis, and the Longhorns have good relationships in this recruitment. Texas was one of the first schools to offer Woodfork during the spring.

Davis has a great relationship with Woodfork, and he continued to connect with the talented EDGE recruit during his bash visit last week. Woodfork is tight with his former teammate at Summer Creek High School, sophomore Texas offensive tackle Kelvin Banks Jr. He also spent time with Banks during the visit.

"“You know, the players were getting after it. Players were ready to practice, and they didn’t miss a beat. I mean, the coaches, they were coaching great. It was an intense practice. I love that.”"

Lastly, Woodfork enjoyed getting to see the team practice. It sounds like seeing the Longhorns practice was one of the highlights of the visit for him.
