Jaboree Antoine, CB

High-four-star New Iberia (LA) Westgate cornerback Jaboree Antoine is one of Texas’ top out-of-state DB priorities early in the 2025 cycle. He will be making his second trip to campus since early-summer for the Rice game this weekend.

Texas is one of the schools that Antoine talked about in an On3 interview this week that is in constant communication with him. He also cited the Tennessee Volunteers, LSU Tigers, and Florida State Seminoles among the four schools contacting him daily.

The Longhorns have established a recruiting pipeline in Louisiana in the last few cycles. Texas landed elite recruits in the 2023 class out of Louisiana, such as five-star quarterback Arch Manning and high-four-star safety Derek Williams. It’s worth mentioning that Williams and Antoine were teammates last season at Westgate High School.

Kamauryn Morgan, EDGE

A top in-state edge rusher offer to watch for the Longhorns in the 2025 class is the touted Red Oak (TX) four-star Kamauryn Morgan. The 6-foot-5 and 230-pound CenTex edge rusher will make his second visit to Texas since early summer for the Rice game on Sep. 2.

Morgan also visited Texas unofficially for the Elite Camp in early June. He had a great experience during his visit for the Elite Camp (even though he didn’t work out during his visit) on June 3. Morgan talked about how good the staff was during his trip a few months ago (per On3).

"“Amazing people, amazing staff, and amazing coaches. That really stood out. They told me they need a pass rusher.”"

Over 15 schools have offered Morgan, including the SMU Mustangs, Oregon Ducks, Georgia Bulldogs, Florida Gators, Texas A&M, and USC Trojans.
