Texas football adds 4-Star 2025 LB Kellen Wiley to the official visitor list for a November gameday

Additionally, 4-star linebacker Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng from IMG Academy in Florida is set to visit in mid-November. Wiley is scheduled to officially visit Texas for the Florida game at DKR in Austin on Nov. 9. The Florida game is the Longhorns' next after the bye week this weekend.

Kellen Wiley's Game what does the film show?

According to 247Sports Composite rankings, Wiley is the 43rd-ranked linebacker nationally and the 84th-best prospect from the state of Florida. At 6-foot-3 and 225 pounds, he has excellent size for a linebacker, with room to add more bulk. Wiley's positional flexibility, allowing him to play both "on-ball" and "off-ball" linebacker alignments, will be a valuable asset as he transitions to the next level.

In addition to his ideal size, Wiley also possesses the athleticism to pursue ball carriers and make tackles. His combination of size and athleticism also enables him to be effective in pass coverage, where he can disrupt the passing game.

Last Friday, the 8-0 Armwood Hawks (FL) dominated the 2-7 Wharton Wildcats out of Tampa, FL, winning 55-0. The Armwood Hawks' roster includes 4-star running back Girard Pringle Jr., a Miami commit, and 3-star wide receiver Tyler Williams, a Georgia commit.

In the game, Armwood's Wiley recorded five total tackles, three solo tackles, and a forced fumble. On the season so far, Wiley has amassed 46 total tackles, 23 solo tackles, four sacks, one interception, and one forced fumble, according to MaxPreps.

Texas will continue to attract top recruits, hopefully Wiley can be apart of this years upcoming 2025 recruiting class.
