The Early National Signing Day has arrived for Texas football recruiting in the 2025 class on Dec. 4. Signed letters of intent have started coming in for college programs around the country at 7 a.m. local time on Wednesday morning.

Texas football kicks off signing day by trying to sign over two dozen recruits in the 2025 class on Dec. 4

It looks like it will be a wild next 48-72 hours for head coach Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns staff on the recruiting trail during the Early Signing Period (Dec. 4-6). Decisions for top uncommitted recruiting targets for the Longhorns on the trail in the 2025 class will start early in the morning on Dec. 4.

Two other headlines to watch for the Longhorns during the Early Signing Period for the next few days will be what recruits Texas is able to flip for this cycle, and how various decisions develop after Dec. 4. Not all recruits signing on the dotted line later this week aren't going to be doing so on the first day of the Early Signing Period.

Here are three commitments the Longhorns could get in the 2025 class during the signing day period between Dec. 4 and 6.

Michael Terry III, ATH

Announcement time: 8:15 a.m. CT on Dec. 4

The first big scheduled decision to watch for the Longhorns on signing day on Dec. 4 is the No. 1 athlete recruit in the nation in the 2025 class in the 247Sports Composite and On3 Industry Ranking.

Five-star San Antonio (TX) Alamo Heights athlete Michael Terry III will decide between the Longhorns, Nebraska Cornhuskers, and Oregon Ducks on Wednesday morning at 8:15 a.m. CT. Terry's decision will take place at the Alamo Heights High School gym on Dec. 4.

We've discussed Terry's recruitment multiple times this week, saying that his decision will come down to a battle on the trail between Texas and Nebraska. Texas is still favored to win this recruitment over Oregon and Nebraska on the morning of the first signing day.
