Texas football recruiting is taking center stage as we approach spring ball and the spring evaluation period in late February and March.
In the past week, the Longhorns have been included among multiple key recruits' finalist list of schools for the 2026 cycle. Highlighting the key targets on the recruiting trail in the 2026 class that the Longhorns are in the mix for entering the spring this offseason are mostly blue-chip linemen on each side of the ball.

Texas has emphasized recruiting "big humans" on both sides of the ball at the lines of scrimmage on the trail for the SEC in the trenches. Here are three linemen from the 2026 recruiting class who included the Longhorns among their finalist schools in the past week this month.
Felix Ojo, OT
Elite high-four-star Mansfield (TX) Lake Ridge offensive tackle Felix Ojo is one of Texas's top in-state priorities for the offensive line recruiting in the 2026 class early this offseason. Ojo has already made one unofficial visit to Texas in the past month for the first big Junior Day of the offseason on Jan. 25. He's also scheduled to take an official visit to Texas in mid-June.
On3's Hayes Fawcett reported on Feb. 13 that Ojo included the Longhorns among his top eight finalist schools. He also included the Ohio State Buckeyes, Michigan Wolverines, Florida Gators, Georgia Bulldogs, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Oklahoma Sooners, and Ole Miss Rebels.
Ojo has recently stated that Texas, Michigan, and Ohio State are the three schools he's looking to officially visit this summer.
Vodney Cleveland, DL
Recent four-star Alabama Crimson Tide decommit and Birmingham (AL) defensive lineman Vodney Cleveland received a visit from Texas defensive line coach Kenny Baker last month.

Texas has started making a bigger push on the recruiting trail for Cleveland in the past couple of months, since he decommitted from Alabama last fall.
Multiple ACC and SEC schools are in the mix for Cleveland on the trail this offseason. He included the North Carolina Tar Heels, Miami Hurricanes, Auburn Tigers, Florida, Georgia, and Texas among his top six schools that he announced on social media earlier this week.
Samuel Roseborough, OT
Texas threw its hat in the ring for the highly touted four-star Clearwater (FL) offensive tackle Samuel Roseborough this past December on the trail. Roseborough got an offer from Texas during a visit on Dec. 19.
Included among Roseborough's top 10 schools are the LSU Tigers, Penn State Nittany Lions, Texas A&M Aggies, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, and Texas.
He told On3 that Texas is "different" and has made a big move in his recruitment in recent weeks and months on the trail.
"Texas is definitely a school that’s at the top of the list. For me, the place is just different."Samuel Roseborough
