Top flip targets on campus for Texas football vs. Kentucky this weekend in Austin
Texas gets one final shot to host top recruits from the 2025 and 2026 classes for a gameday during the regular season this weekend for Senior Day against the Kentucky Wildcats in Austin. The Longhorns have a big group of highly touted commitments in the 2025 class, along with key flip targets along the line of scrimmage for this cycle visiting for the Kentucky game.
The drama that takes place in the closing weeks of high school recruiting for each cycle before signing day in early December is setting the stage for big finishing puzzle pieces in place for the Longhorns 2025 class before Dec. 4.
Here are three key visiting recruits for the Kentucky game this weekend who the Longhorns are looking to flip before signing day.
Nathaniel Marshall, DL (Auburn commit)
It was reported earlier this morning that Texas will host four-star Auburn Tigers defensive line commit and Oak Park (Illinois) Fenwick product Nathaniel Marshall for an official visit for the Kentucky game. Marshall, a one-time Michigan Wolverines pledge, flipped his commitment to Auburn in late August.
This will be the first visit Marshall has taken to Texas for a gameday at DKR since the Longhorns offered him last fall. It's a big development for the Longhorns to get Marshall to campus for an official visit so close to signing day in a couple of weeks.
Marshall is one of the highest-ranked defensive line/defensive end high school recruits in the 2025 class in the 247Sports Composite (No. 55 overall and No. 8 DL).
He is one of multiple defensive line flip targets the Longhorns are hosting for gameday visits for the Kentucky game this afternoon, as Kenny Baker and Texas are looking to add at least one more DL commitment in the 2025 class this fall.
