John Turntine III, OT

One of the highest-rated 2026 visiting recruits for the Georgia game this weekend for the Longhorns is the elite five-star Fort Worth (TX) North Crowley offensive tackle John Turntine III. The No. 1 offensive line recruit in Texas in the 2026 class in the 247Sports Composite and On3 Industry Ranking is making his first gameday visit to DKR unofficially this fall.

Turntine has made multiple other visits to Texas since the start of last offseason. He was most recently on campus for the late July pool party/BBQ bash a few months ago.

Texas has prioritized Turntine's recruitment as much as any offensive line prospect in the class of 2026 early on in that cycle. Kyle Flood and the Longhorns were one of the early P4 offers that Turntine received, coming last fall after a gameday visit during conference play in late October.

Almost one year to the day since Turntine received an offer from the Longhorns, he's set to visit for his first night game at DKR in the first top-five-ranked matchup in Austin since 2006. This could be another big unofficial visit for Turntine to see the Longhorns live at DKR this upcoming weekend.

Turntine also saw the Longhorns play last weekend when Texas dominated Oklahoma in the Red River Rivalry game at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas by a score of 34-3.
