Texas football and head coach Steve Sarkisian held their final big visit weekend of the 2024 regular season this fall during Senior Day against the Kentucky Wildcats at DKR on Nov. 23. Over a dozen blue-chip recruits from the 2025 and 2026 classes visited the Forty Acres for a key 31-14 decisive victory for Texas over Kentucky in SEC play in Week 13.

This was a big weekend on the recruiting trail for Sarkisian and the Longhorns staff, not only because of the successful visit weekend for multiple top recruits in the 2025 and 2026 classes but also for adding to the current cycle of commitments.

Texas landed an important commitment at a key position of need along the defensive line in the 2025 class just before kickoff against Kentucky on Saturday from four-star Loganville (GA) Grayson defensive lineman Joseph Mbatchou.

It looks like the Longhorns' momentum on the recruiting trail should only build from here, especially in the 2025 class with just a couple of weeks remaining before signing day on Dec. 4.

Here are five key visiting recruits for the Longhorns impressed by the 17-point win over Kentucky at DKR on Nov. 23.

Zaden Krempin, OL

One of the top visiting recruits for the Longhorns from the 2026 class for the Kentucky game yesterday was four-star Prosper (TX) offensive lineman Zaden Krempin.

After the game, Krempin posted on social media saying that he "had a great time watching the Longhorns beat up on Kentucky", followed up by the Hook'em hand sign emoji.

Krempin shouted out former Prosper OL product and senior Texas center Jake Majors for a solid performance in his final regular season home game at DKR in the win over Kentucky, saying it was "great to see him" one last time in Austin in a Longhorns uniform.

He got to spend some time with current Texas players and coaches during the visit, while also hanging out with five-star Lewisville (TX) 2025 offensive tackle and Oklahoma Sooners commit Michael Fasusi.

Texas is one of the top schools Krempin has shown a lot of interest in early in his recruitment. He's also visited other schools that have offered him in the P4 conferences this fall, like the Michigan Wolverines, SMU Mustangs, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M Aggies.
