In the past 24 hours, Texas football wrapped up its first big Junior Day visit weekend of the 2025 offseason. Texas hosted multiple key blue-chip recruits from the 2026 and 2027 classes for the Junior Day festivities on the Forty Acres on Jan. 25.
Junior Day visits are a big success for Texas football this weekend to kick off the 2025 offseason on the trail
Texas's coaching staff had a good showing of visiting recruits for Junior Day yesterday, and the early returns from the trips for top prospects from the 2026 and 2027 classes are very positive late this weekend.
Here are five key recruits for the Longhorns from the 2026 and 2027 classes who were impressed by the Junior Day festivities on Saturday.

High-four-star Forney (TX) running back Javian Osborne has been a frequent visitor at Texas since last offseason. He's made multiple unofficial and gameday trips to see Texas in the past 12 months, including for the Junior Day festivities on campus yesterday.
A common theme from Osborne's reaction to the Junior Day visit to Texas yesterday was the continuity and success of the program under head coach Steve Sarkisian in the SEC.
"Something that is really different about this place is the continuity. It's very different. You can tell, seeing those mid-year guys, how close they are together. "Javian Osborne
Osborne spent time meeting with Texas running backs coach Tashard Choice during his Junior Day visit on Saturday. He's been a top priority on the trail at the running back position for Choice and the Longhorns going back over a year.
He plans to take a few spring visits and then line up his summer official visits later this offseason in a few months.
