Michael Terry III, ATH

San Antonio (TX) Alamo Heights five-star athlete Michael Terry III was one of the big signing day commitment announcements for the Longhorns in the 2025 class in early December. Terry had already joined the Longhorns for postseason practice ahead of the Peach Bowl for the College Football Playoff quarterfinal against the Arizona State Sun Devils.

The No. 1 athlete recruit in the nation in the 2025 class in the 247Sports Composite and On3 Industry Ranking, Terry will get to put his wideout skills to the test against some top corners and safeties in the All-American Bowl this week.

Kade Phillips, DB

Missouri City (TX) Fort Bend Marshall five-star Kade Phillips is one of the highest-rated defensive back recruits from the 2025 class on the All-American Bowl roster. Phillips and Galveston (TX) Ball five-star safety/athlete Jonah Williams were the highlighting five-star defensive back signees from the Longhorns 2025 class.

Phillips' recruitment was a pretty crazy roller coaster ride for the Longhorns. He originally committed to LSU before eventually recommitting to Texas before signing day in early December for the 2025 class.

The 6-foot-1 and 185-pound defensive back from the Houston area, Phillips will get to show off his athleticism, length, and range against the premier wide receiver recruits from the 2025 cycle.
