Anthony Hill Jr. was everything that the Texas Longhorns needed him to be during his three seasons on the 40 Acres.
Including his breakout sophomore season, Hill amassed 250 total tackles (138 solo), 17 sacks, eight forced fumbles, four pass deflections, and three interceptions while starring for the Horns.
His in-game performances were a major reason he was expected to have such a high ceiling at the next level. Hill was selected in the second round of the 2026 NFL Draft by the Tennessee Titans.
Now, with preseason just around the corner for the former Texas linebacker, Hill is showing everyone exactly why he got so much love while at Texas.
In a highlight posted by the Titans on social media, Hill came down with a rather impressive-looking interception, even putting in the extra effort to return the ball a few yards in the scrimmage-like drill. That extra motivation to literally go the distance is exactly why he has the potential to not only be a Longhorn Legend, but to become a star in the NFL as well.

Even ore impressive, the interception that Tennessee shared with the world was not the only pick he had that day. Hill came down with two interceptions during this summer practice.
"I'm just doing my job," Hill said during his media availability. "Just trying to get better at little things every day to just try to help me become a better football player."
Anthony Hill's mental and physical maturity should scare the rest of the league
Clearly, he can produce plays on the field, but that is not the only upside that Hill brings to the Titans' roster. He was a multi-year captain during his time leading Texas's defensive unit.

During the post-practice press conference, Hill shared that he has even adjusted his diet since entering the NFL, cutting back on his beloved candy: Mike and Ikes. He let it be known that he has cut six or seven pounds since limiting his sugar intake, and choosing to cook for himself instead of going out all the time.
Listed at 6-foot-2 and clocking in at 238 pounds, Hill has the ideal size for an NFL linebacker. Just look at him compared to Fred Warner, who is considered the best LB in the league right now. Warner stands at just 6-foot-3 and 230 pounds.
"I cut [Mike and Ikes] off, and it worked! So, just kept doing it," Hill said. "It's better for yourself... It's little small details, and it worked."
That willingness to make even the smallest of changes is yet another example of why every team should be concerned about Hill when is on the other side of the line of scrimmage. He is driven to be the absolute best player and all-around athlete on the field.
Hill is clearly preparing himself to have a breakout rookie season, both at the practice facility and in the kitchen. That is something that opponents should fear.
