This week, the world has seen more of Texas quarterback Arch Manning than it has all summer. While attending his family's Manning Passing Academy camp, everything from on-field highlights of the Longhorn to hilarious outtakes of his father, Cooper Manning, has filled social media feeds.

That included the younger Manning spending quite a bit of time with members of the media, and when asked who controlled the aux cord in the Texas Longhorns' locker room, he gave an incredible answer for who he chooses to blast over the speakers when it's his turn.

"It depends on the day," Manning said in response to the initial question. "I was playing some Olivia Dean on Friday; I don't know if you guys like that one."

The British soul singer-songwriter is probably just about the last artist that anyone would have guessed for the Horns' starting quarterback to shuffle to. Yet, despite Manning's uncertainty about her popularity among the media, she's a hit across the globe.

Arch Manning's love for Olivia Dean isn't all that rare

Currently on a worldwide tour, Dean has about 53.5 million listeners on Spotify alone, so Manning certainly isn't alone in his fandom of the singer and may have even gained a few fans of his own with the response.

Not to mention the fact that just under a year ago, Dean was in Austin, performing at the annual Austin City Limits music festival. While Manning might not have been in attendance, playing the Florida Gators over Weekend 1 and the Oklahoma Sooners over Weekend 2, he surely couldn't have missed her presence in town.

Maybe, when Dean comes to Austin this fall as part of her international tour, Manning can make sure to get a ticket for himself and a few teammates that he has undoubtedly brought into the fandom.

Of course, the Manning Passing Academy isn't about music most of the time. Throughout the week, Manning has been seen dropping dimes to downfield targets and strolling around the facilities with his father and uncles, Peyton and Eli Manning.

The week has even included both he and Oklahoma quarterback John Mateer reportedly being the victims of a little AI editing to their arms. While they might be Division I starting quarterbacks for Power Conference teams, even Manning was quick to point out his biceps might not be quite as large as pictured.

Manning is just a couple of months away from his second season as the Longhorns' starter, and the expectations are (somehow) even larger than they were ahead of last season. As the projected No. 1 pick in next year's NFL Draft and as the leader of the team expected to make a run through the College Football Playoff, there is a ton of pressure on Manning's shoulders right now.

So, when the Texas QB can have a little fun during the offseason, whether that's listening to Dean or whoever one of his teammates chooses to play on aux, it should be a settling and uplifting sight for the Horns.
